Regular Council Meeting , . ,
1/29/96 Page 10
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
Appointments Confirmed
Mayor Rinker said there have been a lot of papers generated over the years. These
two ladies for a number of years, have taken on a rather thankless task of sifting
through a lot of drudgery. The Records Commission performs a task that not too
many people would relish.
Mayor Rinker administered oaths of office to Mrs. Flugan and Mrs. Plastine.
Recreation Mary Dodson, leTancy Dunn,
Peggy Gomillion, Peggy Konieczny,
Dave Perout, Terry Santoro,
Sue Schneider, & Kate Sullivan
Mr. Marquardt, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to confirm the
appointments (listed above) to the Recreation Board.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
Appointments Confirmed
Mayor Rinker administered oaths of office to Nancy Dunn and Dave Perout.
Disposition of 1989 Ford Crown Victoria
Council President Fixler asked the status of this vehicle.
Mr. Brett said this was sold through bidding late last year. In-between the time
when the successful bidder came to pick it up, it was towed over to Ken's Auto Body
because it was in the way of a trench. And, an on-board computer was somehow
removed. The top bidder and the second top bidder has declined to purchase this. It
is sitting over at Ken's Auto Body. Mr. Brett said he needs to know Council's desire
on this. It is valued at under $1,000 now and he would like permission to negotiate
for the sale of this car. He does not know when the on-board coanputer was
removed.
Council President Fixler asked if it would be worth putting in a claim to have this
item replaced. (Would the car increase in value enough to cover our deductible?)
