Regular Council Meeting <br />1/29/96 <br />Page 12 <br />A_motion to authorize the expenditure of $5,218.08 to TAC Management Co. for the <br />12-month maintenance/rental of CIZIS computers. <br />Mr. Marquardt, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize the expenditure of $5,218.08 to TAC Management Co. for the 12-month maintenance/ <br />rental of CRIS computers. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />A motion to authorize the ex?enditure of $?3,190.00 to Snap On Tools for the <br />purchase of a scanner and a battery charger. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to authorize the expenditure of <br />$3,190.00 to Snap On Tools for the purchase of a scanner and a battery charger. <br />Mr. Marquardt said the Finance Committee recommends we hold on this. <br />Council President Fixler asked Chief Stevens the time frame on the situation with <br />Snap-on Tools. <br />Chief Stevens said these were two recommended items to maintain the 1996 fleet. <br />He does not know when they will arrive. <br />Mayor Rinker asked if there was anything that made Snap-on unique over anyone <br />else. <br />Chief Stevens said as he remembers the correspondence from the mechanic, the <br />vendor offered a sale price. He will be happy to check competitive prices with other <br />vendors and also check the cost of farming the work out to car dealerships. <br />Council President Fixler asked Council's pleasure regarding the motion on the floor. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to rescind the motion to <br />authorize the expenditure of $3,190 to Snap On Tools. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Rescinded
