<br /> <br /> <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />1/29/96 <br />Page 15 <br />?? <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 96-03, An ordinance appropriating funds for <br />current expenses & expenditures of Mayfield Village, Ohio for the period from <br />January 1, 1995 and ending December 31, 1995 and declaring an emergency." <br />Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to enact Ordinance <br />No. 96-03. <br />Mr. Busa asked if it is for 1995 or 1996. <br />Mr. Brett clarified that it is for 1995; it is the last legal appropriation ordinance for <br />1995. He said we passed one in December and he was off on one number. <br />Dr. Parker asked for an explanation of the transfer to the General Fund to the Sewer <br />Relief Fund of $100,000. <br />Mr. Brett said it was decided by Council in June to establish a new fund called the <br />Sewer Relief Fund. It will be used to ameliorate the financial burden of those <br />converting from a septic system to a sanitary sewer. The legislation was passed in <br />June and must be mirrored in the appropriation ordinance. <br />Dr. Parker asked if there is a system by which that is doled out. <br />Mr. Brett said it isn't in place yet. The actual implementation of that fund has not <br />been worked out.
