Regular Council Meeting <br />2/19/96 <br />Page 4 <br />indicated that the proposed changes would be on the November 1996 ballot. The <br />Suburban Council of Councils indicated they were planning a public meeting in <br />April or May to discuss the proposed government reform. <br />Historical Societv - Dr. Parker said the staining of the new woodwork in the dining <br />room has begun. The hearth in the fireplace has been completed. The finishing of <br />the woodwork in the lavatory, bedroom and kitchen will begin next week. Bids are <br />going out to place a heating system in the basement for future use of a classroom <br />and log cabin display. <br />M.A.R.C - Mr. Buckholtz deferred to Mrs. Cinco to report. <br />Mrs. Cinco said she introduced Bill to the M.A.R.C. group on February. She will stay <br />on as an alternate. At that time, she stepped down as President--but she is part of <br />the Board for presenting the slate of officers. We are scheduled for the first <br />Thursday.in March. We have invited interested people in questioning some of the <br />running of the programs to our open board meetings. <br />Ordinance Review CommitteP - Mr. Marquardt said there was no meeting this <br />month. They will be meeting next month at the regularly scheduled time. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Ferrante reported on the meeting of February 5. <br />[Note: Per Mr. Samac, Don Ray Products was ciiscussed at this meeting and only <br />conceptual approval was given.] <br />Recreation Board - Mr.. Buckholtz said Recreation will be meeting this coming <br />Wednesda.y. We are encouraging all members to be there. This will be somewhat of <br />an organizational meeting. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said the committee has not met. There <br />will be a meeting of the Worton Park Home Owners on February 22 at 7 p.m. <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 96-05, entitled; "An emergency ordinance <br />establishing the compensation of the RecrPation Coordinator for 1996." Introduced <br />by.Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 1/29/96.) <br />Ordinance No. 96-05 to remain on second reading. <br /> <br /> <br />) <br />0
