Regular Council Meeting 2/19/96 Page 4 indicated that the proposed changes would be on the November 1996 ballot. The Suburban Council of Councils indicated they were planning a public meeting in April or May to discuss the proposed government reform. Historical Societv - Dr. Parker said the staining of the new woodwork in the dining room has begun. The hearth in the fireplace has been completed. The finishing of the woodwork in the lavatory, bedroom and kitchen will begin next week. Bids are going out to place a heating system in the basement for future use of a classroom and log cabin display. M.A.R.C - Mr. Buckholtz deferred to Mrs. Cinco to report. Mrs. Cinco said she introduced Bill to the M.A.R.C. group on February. She will stay on as an alternate. At that time, she stepped down as President--but she is part of the Board for presenting the slate of officers. We are scheduled for the first Thursday.in March. We have invited interested people in questioning some of the running of the programs to our open board meetings. Ordinance Review CommitteP - Mr. Marquardt said there was no meeting this month. They will be meeting next month at the regularly scheduled time. Planning and Zoning - Mr. Ferrante reported on the meeting of February 5. [Note: Per Mr. Samac, Don Ray Products was ciiscussed at this meeting and only conceptual approval was given.] Recreation Board - Mr.. Buckholtz said Recreation will be meeting this coming Wednesda.y. We are encouraging all members to be there. This will be somewhat of an organizational meeting. Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said the committee has not met. There will be a meeting of the Worton Park Home Owners on February 22 at 7 p.m. Second Reading of Ordinance No. 96-05, entitled; "An emergency ordinance establishing the compensation of the RecrPation Coordinator for 1996."
