<br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />Aprillst, 1996 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monday, April 1st, 1996, <br />at eight o'clock p.m. (8:00 p.m.) in the Council Chambers at Village Hall. Council <br />President Mark Fixler presided. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, <br />Mr. Fixler, Mr. Marquardt and Dr. Parker <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Cappello, Mr. Diemert, Mr. Metzung <br />Chief Mohr, Mr. Samac, Chief Stevens and Miss Heath <br />?- <br />? <br /> <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 96=16, entitled; "An emergency ordinance <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Jack Maxton Chevrolet without <br />the necessity of advertisement and formal bidding for an amount not to exceed <br />thirty six thousand dollars ($36,000.00) as and for the purpose of two 1996 Chevy <br />police cars." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 96-16. <br />Chief Stevens said things fell through with the original vendor and they found a <br />better deal elsewhere. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />Fire Station Stove <br />Council President Fixler said Council had an explanation of the various dollar <br />amounts in their packets. He asked Chief Mohr to explain his position.
