Service - Mr. Metzung reported he met with the Engineer today. They will have a <br />full plan regarding the road program to submit to Safety & Service and to bring to <br />the next Council Meeting. <br />Fire - Lt. Girbino reported they had a busy period after the storm on Friday. The new <br />station will be completed in 2-3 weeks. <br />Finance - Mr. Brett said the Village of Mayfield and City of Highland Heights <br />received Issue II funding for the Wilson Mills traffic corridor improvement project. <br />The Village and Highland Heights will contribute about $175,000. We will receive <br />approximately $275,000 from Cuyahoga County and Issue II monies of $350,000 from <br />OPWC. The project will be starting later this year. ' <br />Activities Committee - Mayor Rinker said the committee is getting things together <br />for '50s Night and the 75th Anniversary. There will be another meeting April 24. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Samac said a pool, a deck and a couple of <br />additions and a handicapped access ramp for the historical building were considered <br />at their meeting of March 28. <br />Board of A1212eals - Mr. Samac said a meeting is scheduled tomorrow evening. They <br />will be hearing one case regarding sign variance requests for the northwest <br />quadrant. <br />Cemetery - Dr. Parker deferred to Mr. Buckholtz. <br />Mr. Buckholtz said all Council members should have gotten sonlething in their <br />packets. The Garden Club and Horticulture school are working on a plan for the <br />cemetery. The cemetery committee members will be meeting this Sunday for their <br />first formal meeting to approve all things that must be done this year. <br />Council President Fixler asked if the tree was removed. <br />Dr. Parker said yes, it was. <br />Citizen's Advisory Board - Mrs. Cinco had no report.
