St ji, ?•.? 9r91,'??i i?,?4'rR;;: <br />Regular Council Meeting ? 4/15/96 <br />Page 9 <br />Mr. Samac said no; he believes everything was covered. <br />Council President Fixler clarified to Council that a yes vote will be to affirm the <br />decision by the Board of Appeals. A no vote is to reverse their decision. <br />Mr. Diemert said there are two variances; they could be separated. <br />Council President Fixler said we will do them all at once. <br />Mayor Rinker said Council was provided with a complete packet of materials. They <br />have had an opportunity to review all the materials that have been presented to the <br />various Village entities. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to affirm the decision of the <br />Board of Appeals. - <br />Council President Fixler asked if there was any further discussion. <br />There were no additional comments. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, <br />Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler and Mr. Flynn <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />The decision of the Board of Appeals to deny the variance request (pursuant to the BOA <br />minutes of 3/19/96) is affirmed. <br />Consideration of Appeal for BOA Case No. 96-4: Request for a variance for a sign at 780 <br />Seta Drive - Property Owner: Mr. Quagliata <br />Council President Fixler asked if any representatives were present. <br />Mr. Samac said they were informed, in writing, of the meeting. <br />Council President Fixler said we will go forward with it. He thinks everyone is familiar <br />with the site. We are talking about the Spaghetti Company sign being placed below the <br />Holiday Inn sign on the freeway. Mr. Fixler said this is a new situation for Mayfield <br />Village (if this were approved.) The Board of Appeal's decision on this is quite clear--it <br />does not meet our code requirements at all.
