Mayor Rinker said the chairs will be here tomorrow. We were not anticipating having a meeting here tonight. However, there is no air conditioning at Village Hall. Mayor Rinker said he would like to get this operation up and running in another month [using the Community Room for Council meetings.] We must consider what we want to do to get our sound system functioning well enough. He would like comments about the tables. Council President Fixler had no comment at this time. Buil?din g_- Mr. Samac gave an update about the barns and old buildings at the north end of the Village. He said they are expecting a report on the asbestos on Wednesday. It is a clear report, there is a 10-day waiting period; then they will be able to burn the buildings down. Also, they promised to take care of the weeds in the first 100 feet. Engineer - Mr. Cappello said the contractor working on the Worton Park Sewer project is now about 25% done with Norman Lane. He will proceed to North Woodlane, South Woodlane and Woodlane. On the North Cottnty trunk line, they have completed to Miner Road. They are estimating about a three-week delay but lag time was built into their estimate. Fire - Chief Mohr said they are probably about a week and a day from starting to move into the new facility. The cleaning company is coming Wednesday. Most of the furniture was delivered. He asked if there was any word about the signal. Mr. Cappello said they received word back from O.D.O.T. They have requested we signalize the Sandalwood intersection (with two signals facing Sandalwood.) To do so, we will have to include another mast iron. He estimates an additional cost of $5,000.00 for the mast arm and pole. Council President Fixler questioned if they are requesting.
