3 <br />Regulaz Council Meeting <br />7/1/96 <br />Page 2 <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Fire - ChiefMohr commended the Police Department for handl'mg the traffic on'SOs Night. <br />Finance - Mr. Brett said Tegislation is in front of Council for the 1997 tax budget. He requested it <br />be read in title this evening. <br />STEINDING COMIVIITTEE REPORTS ` <br />Activities Committee - Mayor Rinker said the Fire Station will be dedicated Saturday at noon. <br />Since this is a ceremonial event, he asked everyone on Council and department heads to be on <br />hand. He said it is a handsorne building. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Samac said they met Jurie 27 and there were 3 items on the <br />agenda. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Samac said he gave the la.st report at the previous Council meeting. <br />There are no items for the new agenda and the cut-off is this Wednesday. <br />Cemeterv - Dr. Parker said the cemetery records have been placed in the hands of the Historical <br />Society. The committee thought that is the most appropriate location to keep the records for <br />safekeeping (since new officers are elected each year.) <br />Council President Fixler asked where they are being stored. <br />Dr. Parker said some will go into fireproof storage; some things will be in file cabinets. <br />Council President Fixler said they must be under lock and key. He thinks it is a great idea but to <br />check into fire safety. <br />Citizen's Advisory Board - Mrs. Cinco said there was no report. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Busa said the Director of I3uman Services (Euruce Kalina) sends the <br />following report: The Senior Gentry will hold its first picnic of the season Monday, July 8 at 4:30 <br />p.m. Weather permitting we will meet at Wiley Park's picnic pavilion. Otherwise, we have <br />reserved the Community Room. We hope to play Bocce Saturday, July 6 during the Anniversary <br />celebration. We will probably
