The groups will not meet the 23rd and 30th of this <br />month. <br />Safeiy and Service - Mrs. Cinco said they discussed the Fire Chiefs request to recoup the cost of <br />arson fires. We must deterniine by law the procedures for recovery for the cost of mutual aid, et <br />cetera. The Comtnittee also discussed the Service Department tractor--they will rent equipment <br />to mow weeds on Rt. 91. The Police Department questioned personnel matters on tonight's <br />agenda. Council President Fixler asked if the concession trailer will be here for the weekend. <br />Mr. Metzung said they did not beiieve it would be here in time. He will check again. <br />Finance Committee -Mr. Marquardt said the Finance Committee met this evening and discussed <br />the same items on tonight's Caucus agenda and concurred with the conclusions that came out of <br />Caucus. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Dr. Parker said there was no report. <br />Historical Societv - Dr. Parker said everything will be ready for July 6. He suggested we send a <br />thank-you note for all their efforts. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Buekholtz said there was no report. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Marquardt said there was no report. <br />Plaiviing and Zoning - Mr. Ferrante said the Commission met this evening. Discussion of the <br />Centerior Energy proposal was postponed. The Quick Lube was voted down and the <br />Commission recommended the Land Subdivision and Planet Baseball concepts to Council. <br />Planet Baseball was recommended contingent upon makuig sure there will be enough parking and <br />Mr. Diemert is checking to see that we can revert back to the original zoning. The last items <br />discussed were the BOCA code and additions to Section 1309.05; both were recommended to <br />Council. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Buckhoitz said the Recreation Board has been working with-the Activities <br />Committee for the July 6th festivities. All Star Softball games will be held Saturday and the Race <br />will be on Sunday. Scholarships were awarded to: Cheryl Flugan, Chris Batcheller, Andrea <br />Catullo from Mayfield High School and Julie Eppich from St. Francis. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said there was no report.
