Regular Council Meeting <br />11-18-96 . <br />Page 2 <br />Oaths of Office <br />Mayor Rinker administered oaths of office to Thomas Itepicky, a new member of the Civii <br />Service Commission and James Daugherty, a new part-time patrolman. <br />Council President Fixier said he, aiso, wouid iike to compiiment everyone involved with the <br />snowfall situation. <br />Council President Fixler expressed concern over exterior painting after October 1'` since paint <br />won't adhere in temperatures below 50°. He asked Mr. Samac to research this issue; the Village <br />might want to set a poiicy of some type. He is especially concerned about the School Board <br />Building. <br />NIr. Metzung said limb pick-up will begin Wednesday. He hopes to compiete it within one <br />week. He has requested authorization to go to bid for a new front-end loader. <br />Mayor Rinker asked if they will need a chipper to help with the limbs. <br />Mr.1Vletzung said yes, they will be renting one. <br />Lt. Neyman reported tiie Fire Department took Captain Jamieson to the hospital Friday. He will <br />probably have a triple bypass. <br />Mayor Rinker said Chief Mohr's father was in an automobile accident and is in the hospitai in <br />Wooster. They will be <br />discussing the tree lighting ceremony. <br />Architecturai Review Board - NIr. Samac said the Board met October 29. They approved an <br />addition to a residence. <br />Board of Appeais - Mr. Samac said the peopie did not attend the last meeting. A meeting is <br />scheduled for tomorrow (November 19"') evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Itoom. The
