Regular Council Meeting <br />. 11-18-96 <br />Page 3 <br />meeting is concerning the variance request by Sunrise ijeveiopment for potentiai deveiopment <br />on S.O.M. <br />Cemeterv - Dr. Parker had no report. <br />Citizen's Advisorv Board - Mrs. Cinco said they met October 28. Council received minutes of <br />that meeting compliments of Jeff Schiemann. The Committee getting reorganized and getting <br />back to regularly scheduled meetings. They hope to find a few new members. <br />Commission on Agin? - Mr. Busa read the report from the Human Services Director. A copy is <br />attached to the minutes. <br />Safetv and Service - iVlrs. Cinco said information about the turnout gear for the Fire Department <br />will be included in Council's packets on Friday. <br />Finance Committee - Mr.1Vlarquardt said the Finance Committee had a special meeting on the <br />11' and also met this evening prior to this meeting. They discussed three items-two items will <br />be discussed in Executive Session. 3'he third item was IVTr. Metzung's request to go out for bids <br />for a front end loader. The Committee recommends going out for bids. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Dr. Parker reported on the meeting of October 26. (Copies of the <br />minutes had been included in Council's packet of November 15t".) He said guest speakers <br />included Commissioner Weingart, State Representative 7ane Campbell, Auditor Tim <br />McCormack and Congressman Steve LaTourette. The new Federal Health Care Reform Act was <br />discussed. <br />Historical Societv - ijr. Parker read tlie report from the i-Estoricai Society. A copy is attached to <br />the minutes. <br /> <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Buckhoitz reported the Committee met November 7. They discussed pians for <br />spring such as getting Indians tickets for a behind the fence party. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Marquardt said the Committee met November 12. They <br />discussed legislation to restrict the parking of vehicles on tree lawns. They recommend <br />restricting parking of vehicies on tree iawns for a period not to exceed 14 days and not more <br />than two vehicles a year. The Committee recommends this be passed onto Planning and Zoning. <br />Planning and Zonin? - Mr. Fenante said they met November 14. They discussed the driveway <br />improvement plans for Progressive Insurance. Planning and Zoning unanimously recommends <br />Council approve those plans. Mr. Ferrante asked why this item isn't on tonight's agenda. <br />Council President Fixler said he will ask for a motion to amend the agenda to include this item <br />and others.
