Regular Council Meeting <br />12-16-96 <br />i'age 8 <br />Miss Heath asked if they would be separate motions. <br />Council President Fixler said it will be done as one motion. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize an expendature not to exceed $9,000 <br />to TTO and an expenditure not to exceed $8,000 to High Point Tree Service. <br />Mr. Brett said these are caps. <br />Mr. Metzung said we only have estimates at this point; we have not received actual bills. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Rentat of-a Cn'ipper- Council President Fixier askect for a motion to approve a cap of$5-,000 to <br />Ohio Machinery for rental of a chipper. 1V13-. iVlarquardt, seconded by 1N&s. Cfnco, macte a motion to authorize an expenditure not to exceed- <br />$5,000 to Ohio Machinery for rental of a chipper. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 96-48, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing the <br />purchase of three (3) police motor vehicles from 32 Ford-Mercury, Inc. through the State's <br />Cooperative Purchase Program." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />1VIi. Busa, seconcted by N1rs. C'inco, macte a motion to suspend tTie rules ofCouncit requir'ing an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 96-48. <br />Mr. Ferrante asked what will happen with the old cars-if they will be recycled or sold. <br />Council President Fixler said he imagines they will be sold. <br />Mayor Rinker said we always look to see if we can use them in house. If not, they are sold.
