Regular Council Meeiang
3-15-99
Page 10 Ordinance Enacted

OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state
their name and address. This open portion is lunited to discussion pertaining to the items under
"New Business" only.
There were no comments.
ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL
There were no other items before Council.
CLOSING COMIVENTS
Mrs. Mills-reported that she attended the Cuyahoga County Board of Health Meeting today.
Donna will attach an agenda to everyone's minutes. It was merely a formality meeting.
Mrs. Mills asked everyone to mark their calendars for the Arbor Day Ceremony--it will be held
Apri130th at 10 a.m. in the Community Room.
Mayor Rinker said we are going to try to have a meeting of the Living Laboratory before the end
of the month. Tom Evans from URS Grreiner-indicated that we have preliminary approval from
the Corps of Engineers for all the Wetlands issues. One of which is our tie-in of stormwater
surrounding the pool site. We have shifted it from running straight to nirning back into the
drainage there. Overall, the wetland area will be treated as detention area which will enha.nce the
wetland and be functional. Those are the things that the Corps of Engineers had to approve and
they have. The other thing is with the swimming pool is that he has gotten a preliminary depth
chart and proposed budget from Mr. Thomas. He will be meeting with Mr. Thomas to go over
the details and then they will present that to the Council, Safety and Service and Finance to
discuss those issues. Bill has been very prompt in getting some of that stuff back. The
Recreation Board needs to look at some of these as well.
Mrs. Cinco congratulated Mr. Brett on the budget--which she is sure is another award-winner.
Mr. Busa said he and his wife would like to express their appreciation to Mayor Rinker and
Council for their concern and generosity.
Dr. Pazker said some people had mentioned road problems on Hanover Road--the edging is
coming up.
?
?

Mr. Metzung said he had not noticed it but they had done some repair there [previously]. There
is a curb underneath about 2" of asphalt and the asphalt tends to break off. He will look at it.
