Regular Council Meeting 4-19-99 Page 6 Mr. Busa asked why we accumulate so much debris. Mr. Metzung said we currently have a pile of junk that we collect as we do road and sewer work. We will be hauling it -to the landfill; this is the landfill fee. Mr. Busa asked why it is not moved as we go. Mr. Metzung said it wouldn't be efficient to take it every time. Dr. Parker asked where the landfill is located. Mr. Metzung said it is in Solon. Dr. Parker asked how much of the pile this will get rid of. Mr. Metzung said about 20% of what is currently there; we may accumulate more junk this year. Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Marquardt, Mrs. Mills and Dr. Parker NAYS: None ABSTAIN: Mr. FiXler Motion Carried Expenditure Authorized A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $2,601040 to Jones Equipment Mr. Fixler, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount-of $2,601.40 to Jones Equipment. Mr. Busa asked what this is for. Mr. Metzung said this is for a watering system for a sweeper we purchased for our sidewalk. We recently discovered that the dust comes into the cab of the machine.
