Regular Council Meeting <br />5-17-99 <br />Page 11 <br /> <br /> <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Fixler deferred to Mr. Samac . <br />Mr. Samac said we had no meeting this month. <br />Planning and Zonin? - Mrs. Mills said the next meeting (a VJorkshop) will be held May 20th at <br />7:30 p.m. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Buckholtz said they will be meeting this Wednesday. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said we met last week. Representatives from the <br />Cuyahoga County Board of Health attended. Rick Novickis (of the Board of Health) spoke. It <br />was an informative meeting. We are setting up a time frame for meeting with the next <br />community--the Eastgate area--in the Fall. Our resident member of the Board, Fred Freer, was <br />elected to write an article (for the Voice of the Village.) Things will start-moving.. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />There were no items under "Old Business". <br />OPEN PORTION <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there were any comments. <br />There were no comments. <br />NE'W BUSINE$S ° <br />A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $5,200 to Personnel Selection <br />Services, Inc. for the administration of the sergeant's examination <br />Mr. Fixler, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$5,200 to Personnel Selection Services, Inc. <br />Mayor Rinker said we have spent less in times past but we tried to customize this one; there were <br />3 different parts to it. We put a lot more effort to give a comprehensive test. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amonnt-of $3,463 to Gates McDonald to <br />maintain membership in the group rating program for Workmen's Compensation
