Regular Council Meeting <br />6-21-99 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />L_ <br />Mayor Rinker administered the oath of office to Carmen Ilacqua as Council Representative At <br />Large. <br />Mayor Rinker said he was very pleased there were 4 candidates. It gives testimony to the fact <br />that we have people who feel-it is important to be involved in the Village. He is pleased in the <br />interest shown. For those not selected, he agrees that they should stay involved whether they run <br />for office or not. There are things we do in the Village all the time that require the involvement <br />of our citizens. Volunteers can sign up with Donna. <br />Mr. Ilacqua took the seat at the Council table. <br />OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak musf first state <br />their na.me and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under <br />"Old Business" only. <br />There were no comments. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $12,432.00 to Pat Flowers, Inc, for the <br />1999 Street Striping Program. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$12,432.00 to Pat Flowers, Inc. <br />Mrs. Cinco said she understands they will be using a new paint. <br />Dr. Parker said Mr. Metzung has-indicated it will be a new type of paint. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />A motion to authorize an ezpendituee in the amount of $4,065.00 to Kustom Signals Inc. for <br />the purchase of a ProLaser III Radar Unit (with batteries and chargers) <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$4,065.00 to Kustom Signals Inc. <br />Roll-Call: AYES: Ail <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized
