Mr.
Flugan cited results of a census that was taken several years ago; (the majority of
residents did not want street lighting.) Mr. Flugan explained the costs that were
proposed at that time. (He provided a copy of the poll to the Clerk of Council to
distribute to Council.) Mr. Flugan said if street lighting becomes an issue again--he
thinks about 90% of the residents are still there; he does not believe they would want
street lighting.
Mr. Fixler said Council had tabled that issue--they had gotten the same feedback--that
most residents did not want it.
Mr. William Peirce, U?212er 40, asked if anyone had any comments or reactions to his
letter.
Mayor Rinker said he wishes to respond to Mr. Peirce's letter in writing. Mayor Rinker
said Mr. Peirce had raised a few issues that were pretty thought provoking and he does
intend to respond to his letter.
