Regular Council Meeting <br />2/20/95 Page Four <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said there was no report. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Cinco said she is reporting for Mr. Basile: the ceiling beams in <br />the bedroom are 85% complete. We can all look forward to a new look. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said they met February 2. We have no new news. They went <br />over the budget and the minutes from last month. The Art Show will be held the week <br />of October 14 and 15. They have no news on insurance at this time. They discussed the <br />possibility of basketball and there is a lot of interest in ice rinks. Their next meeting will <br />be held March 2. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Basile was absent; there was no report. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Ferrante said they met February 6. They recommended the <br />following items to Council: legislation regarding sprinklers, dish antennas, and <br />children in unattended vehicles. One other item was tabled: hours for pick-up and <br />delivery in retail areas. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Buckholtz said they met February 15. They discussed the need <br />for a new Director for the Camp. Sign-up for softball is March 15. Fees are staying the <br />same as last year. Concerning Wiley Park--they are working with Tom Cappello <br />regarding drawing up specs for drainage. Recreation must prepare a list of start-up <br />maintenance, daily and weekly things that will need to be done. They are learning <br />toward using the last parcel of land for a volleyball court. They also discussed their <br />Easter Party scheduled for Apri18. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said the committee met tonight. He was <br />elected Chairman. He will be joining Mayor Rinker and Mr. Brett for a meeting with <br />the Worton Park residents on Tuesday. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />• HVAC/Community Room Expansion (Update) Mr. Samac said he has not <br />received any quotes regarding costs for the addition. He had hoped to have some back <br />this week. He explained the estimated dimensions of the room which will provide for a <br />meeting room and storage area. There are a few small items to be addressed such as the <br />face brick and the extent of finish for the room before he can provide an estimate. <br />Mr. Fixler said if they have to call a special meeting to consider this, they will. <br />Informal quotes are needed first.
