?h.3,. ., . .?... ? -.,. <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />2/20/95 <br />Page Five <br />• A motion to approve an expenditure of $3,700 to Phillip Berardinelli (for emergency <br />repair work on Beta Drive) <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to authorize ari expenditure of <br />$3,700 to Phillip Berardinelli for emergency work on Beta Drive. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must <br />first state their name arid address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining <br />to the items under "Old Business" only. <br />There were no comments. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />• Veterinary Sign Variance Request (A motion to approve a variance for a front yard <br />setback for a ground sign at Village Veterinary Clinic, 6529 Wilson Mills Road) <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to approve a variance for a front <br />yard setback for a ground sign at Village Veterinary Clinic, 6529 Wilson Mills Road. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Variance Approved <br />• Wiley Ditch - Retainage ($4,623.54) Mr. Brett said we have been holding this <br />retainer. He makes it a practice to put it in front of Council before he releases them so <br />there are no questions before he makes final payment. <br />Mr. Cappello said if we feel the hydroseeding is insufficient, they should come back. <br />He will contact them about this. <br />There were no further comments or objections. <br />Lwards A.G. Edwards - Subsidized Funding Mr. Brett said he has talked to A.G. <br />concerning subsidized interest on borrowing. It is not likely we will be able to <br />get in on this round of funding. The anticipated increases in the rates are not <br />significant. He will keep Council posted.
