Regular Council Meeting <br />March 20, 1995 <br />Page Six 13. Preparation and advertising for bids for expansion of Community Room - <br />The Finance Committee recommends moving ahead and shopping for bids. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said there was no meeting. However, <br />there is a meeting April S. He would like to urge any and all Council members to <br />attend that meeting if possible. <br />Historical Societv - Mr. Basile described the progress on the Historical House. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said M.A.R.C. met March 2. They have several new <br />programs. The slate of officers for 1995 are as follows: <br />President: Joanne Cinco <br />Vice President: Tom? <br />Secretary: Bill Shaylor <br />Secretary: Kay Vincent <br />Their next meeting will be the first Thursday in April (April 6.) <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Basile said there was no meeting in February. <br />Mr. Samac said two members are on vacation. Unless something of real importance <br />necessitates a meeting, their next regularly scheduled meeting will not be until May. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Ferrante said Planning and Zoning met March 6. There <br />were several items on the agenda: a sign variance for Picker X-Ray, 600 Beta Drive; <br />that passed 4-2; a sign variance for Dr. LoPresti - that was not passed--it was a 3-3 <br />vote and the motion did not carry; a lot consolidation for 286 and 294, those were <br />both unanimously. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Buckholtz said the Board March 15. They had an excellent <br />turnout for softball sign-up. They are putting together a long-term, short-term and <br />immediate plans for the coming year. Ways of keeping an accounting system were <br />discussed in terms of revenue and expenses. The Easter Party will be April 8 at <br />noon. Information is being compiled for volleyball courts at Wiley Park as well as <br />the drainage situation and the bleachers will be coming up later on the agenda. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said the Committee said they were part <br />of ineetings with the Worton Park home owners in terms of the Worton Park <br />sewer. It was a very successful meeting. There is a large outpouring of citizens from <br />the Worton Park area who want to be involved as volunteers. He thinks the next <br />step in the Worton Park scenario will be a meeting that he will attempt to put <br />together with the Mayor, the Finance Director, Tom Cappello and several members
