Regular Council Meeting <br />March 20, 1995 <br />Page Eight <br />agreed to a period of April 1997) that those occupancies would be required to be <br />equipped with a supervised smoke fire detection system within their building. <br />There may have been a few other minor editorial changes, but that was the crux of <br />the changes. <br />Mr. Fixler asked for a withdrawal of the suspension. <br />Mr. Basile and Mr. Busa moved their motion to suspend. <br />The motion to suspend the rules was withdrawn. <br />OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak <br />must first state their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion <br />pertaining to the items under "Old Business" only. <br />Mr. Fixler asked if anyone had any comments. <br />Mr. Prosen, 770 S.O.M. Center Road said he wanted to thank the Mayor and <br />Council, Fire and Police Chief for their help on his move. He thanked them for <br />letting him stay in the house another month; he gave them the rent check. <br />NEW BLTSTNE?S` <br />Car lift for Police Denartment (Mr. Fixler clarified the amount is $4,100 (not $3,800 as <br />was on the agenda) and asked for a motion to approve the expenditure. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to approve the expenditure of <br />$4,100 for the purchase of a car lift for the Police Department. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Approved <br />Deductible for Thomas Wilson Case - A motion authorizing the expenditure of $5,000 <br />to National Casualty Ins. Co. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize the 'expenditure of <br />$5,000 to National Casualty Insurance Company for payment of the deductible in the <br />Thomas Wilson case. <br /> <br /> <br />
