Regular Council Meeting ,
5/15/95
Page Fifteen
Mayor Rinker said this was discussed in Caucus.
Discussion was held about the number of vehicles to be purchased.
Chief Stevens said they have an approved purchase order for 4 vehicles from a
vendor who can't supply them.
Mr. Flynn said collectively these 4 vehicles would be an additional $8,000. He has a
concern about that.
Discussion was held.
Mayor Rinker said because this requires a vote of Council, the earliest it could be
considered would be Monday (at the special meeting.)
Mr. Fixler said we will have another meeting about this.
First Reading of Ordinance No. 95-27, entitled; "An emergency ordinance
authorizing the purchase of various items for the Police Department from Kustom
Signals, Inc." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole.
First Reading of Ordinance No. 95-28, entitled; "An ordinance approving the editing
and inclusion of the 1994 replacement pages to the Mayfield Village Charter and
declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole.
Miss Heath asked permission to forward copies of the replacement pages to the
Charter Review Commission members even though the ordinance was only given
first reading.
Mayor Rinker and Council agreed she could forward copies now.
ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL
Chief Mohr said the radios have been ordered for '50s Night. He asked if there were
any changes or additions.
Mayor Rinker and Miss Heath asked him to increase the order to 12 radios.
Mr. Buckholtz asked about the greenskeeper.
