316 Regular Council Meeting 8/21/95 Page 6 Council President Fixler asked them to please be sure the updated sign ordinance is on their agenda. Planning and Zoning, - Mr. Ferrarite said he was unable to attend that meeting; he asked Mayor Rinker to report. Mayor Rinker said Deacon's presented some more information, some input from neighbors in and around the area (they have gotten some pretty favorable responses.) Through our office, we will set up a neighborhood meeting to brainstorm and get the word out about the proposal for the zoning changes they have. The other issue involved the Koren property lot split to which Mr. Diemert referred earlier. That is still a work in progress. Recreation Board - Mr. Buckholtz said they met last Wednesday, informally, after the softball banquet. They briefly discussed the success of the race. During their September meeting, they will probably talk about new ideas for summer camp. One thing that keeps coming up in Recreation is some type of marquee to announce meetings, etc. in front of the gazebo. Council President Fixler said we have seen several drawings of possible marquees. Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said there was no meeting. Nextel Communications - Updated Proposal - Council President Fixler said we have already heard from them and we will set up a future meeting. Third Reading of Ordinance No. 95-48 , entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing an agreement with A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. to serve as underwriter for the new Fire Station bonds." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 6/29/95, Second Reading 7/17/95.) Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 95-48.
