<br />315 <br />?; •?.?, <br />Regular Council Meeting , . ., , <br />8/21/95 <br />Page 5 <br />Discussion was held about the planter. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said the Committee met this evening and <br /> recommends approval of the following: (exceptions noted with *) <br />C? 1) payment for the N.O.A.C.A. TLC Study, <br />? 2) payment of $4,380 to Bill Reynolds (for a back-up unit) <br />Q 3) reimbursement to Kenwood Homeowners Association for landscaping <br />ll <br />d <br />5 <br /> (wi <br />recommen <br />up to $2 <br />0) <br />? 4) payment to G.A.R. Paving for $2,925 <br />? *5) They discussed Nextel Communications and have no comment on that at <br /> this time; <br /> 6) salary ordinances for Law Director, Prosecutor and Engineer, <br /> 7) recommend passage of ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an <br /> agreement with A.G. Edwards for underwriting the Fire Station bonds, <br /> 8) preparation of the applications for Issue II funding for 1996, <br /> 9) payment to Metro Utility for installation of sidewalks along Sandalwood, <br /> 10) payment to RCU for services (they would like to at least hold back 20% <br /> until completion of the project.) He said if he does not have the rights <br /> story, for Mr. Brett to correct him at the end of the report; <br /> 11) $4,455 for additional landscaping costs during Hickory Hill pump station (if <br /> Council is of such a mind); <br /> *12) Regarding the police arbitration, he believes Council was circulated with <br /> the results of the arbitrator; <br /> 13) Ordinance No. 95-56 regarding commercial steel for Fire Station <br /> construction project. . <br />Mr. Brett said he wants to review the architect's contract; he believes the last <br />payment is upon completion of the building. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said there was no meeting. <br />Historical Societv - Mr. Basile said work has been progressing in the south wing. <br />The new memorial bricks have been placed in the wall. The Saturday work crew <br />will be taking off the rest of the summer; they will return September 16. <br />M.A.R.C - Mayor Rinker said they will be meeting next in September. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Basile said there was no meeting. <br />Mr. Samac said the next meeting is scheduled for September 12.
