338 Special Council Meeting 8/28/95 Page 14 Mr. Busa said there are two holes now by the rut on S.O.M. Center Road. Council President Fixler said he would like them to pour concrete on it. Mr. Cappello said he believes the contractor will start either next week or after Labor Day. It might be a week or so after they start that they will make the repair on S.O.M. ' Mr. Flynn thanked the Charter Review Commission for a super job. Mr. Buckholtz reminded everyone about the flag-raising ceremony Monday at the Cemetery. ; Mayor Rinker extended an invitation to Council to attend the flag-raising and dedication of the Cemetery on Monday, September 4 at 11 a.m. Council President Fixler said there are two senior members of Council that will not be with us again next year. As Council President, he has had an opportunity to work closely with both of them. He is happy to see that all three of us are ending up on a very positive note. He said it was a good experience for him because it was very challenging for him. He is in gratitude to both of them for the history they were able to give him. He wishes both of them luck. He said we have many months ahead to do some work--but whatever their decisions were and how they arrived at them--he is sure is a personal issue. He would like to say thank you to both of them. Whatever they decide to do in the future, if there is anything he can do, or the Mayor or any member of Council, he is sure they can call on us. i Mr. Brett said the Auditors are in. There will be pre-audit conference on Wednesday at 10 a.m. The auditors wanted him specifically to invite all members of Council to that if they are available. The audit is for the years 1993-1994.
