Some of
them are correctional on the computer system, so when you see a transfer to a fund
with a number--those are clean-up. However, there is one in there he wants to point
out--S.O.M. Center is transferring $52,149 back to the Bond Retirement Fund. That
project is closed and we have an excess of $52,000 in there. That will help pay for its
debt. It will return the $100,000 advance to the General Fund. The Recreation Fee Fund
by ordinance could be held within the Recreation Fund. It was a bit confusing having
the Recreation Fee Fund and the Recreation Fund. But, after looking at it clearly, the
Recreation impact fees are specifically for the purchase of recreation equipment.
Mr. Ferrante questioned the amount. (There was an extra zero on the $7,000 figure in
the ordinance.)
Mr. Brett said it should read $7,000.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Ordinance Enacted
ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL
CLOSING COMMENTS
Mr. Ferrante said he received a phone call on Sunday from a Hunt Circle resident
about a person who occasionally parks a truck with work equipment on it on their
street and puts the trash out on Sunday. He would like Mr. Samac to follow up on
it. Also, another neighbor has their own business--employees are parking their cars
on the street during the day--all day long.
Mayor Rinker said we will follow up on it.
Mrs. Cinco recommends preparing a Resolution of Appreciation for this fine group
of people. She thanked the Charter Review Commission for all their hard work.
They put in some tedious hours. She said they made us proud.
