343
Special Council Meeting
9/5/95
Page 3
ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL
Mr. Buckholtz asked if Mr. Amendola had gotten in touch with C.E.I. about
electricity at the Cemetery. Mr. Buckholtz said he had received a call about the flag
(D being up with no lights on it, so maybe it should be taken down.
CO Mr. Busa asked if there has been any progress on the house on S.O.M. across from
? Mr. Schulz's farm.
z Mr. Samac said they have been sent notice to paint, repair the roof, etc. He believes
? they have been sent a follow up notice. We will be proceeding through legal
channels to try to force them to comply.
Mayor Rinker said he will make sure the Prosecutor has the wherewithal to send it
to the Court.
Council President Fixler said he has noticed high weeds by several homes by the
bike path and across the street from the bike path on S.O.M. Center. He thinks it is
important to get notices to all the residents who live along S.O.M. Center that their
responsibility of taking care of their property goes to the curb or the street.
Mr. Samac said they have notified a couple of people. Some of the areas have just
been sprayed in the last day or so. A lot of people tend not to run their lawnmowers
that close because they pick up rocks, etc. but it is still their responsibility to
maintain it.
Mr. Basile said this is a problem on some of the side streets as well.
Mr. Busa said grass has not been cut on several pieces of property on S.O.M.
The Rivers' property was discussed. Mr. Samac said the son is making a good stride
and has been really working at that property.
Council President Fixler asked if there is anything they can do on the Schulz
property.
Mr. Samac said it is to the point now where he will be going to the Pr.osecutor. They
have been cited; they have been given notice.
Mr. Ferrante and Mr. Basile asked what is going on with the golf course.
