344
Special Council Meeting ;; „
9/5/95
Page 4
Mayor Rinker said there has been a lot of discussion, but no fundamental change.
He has met with Dick LaConte and Larry Goldberg. They are looking to get some
feedback from Bob Monchein.
Council President Fixler said it is a misnomer to automatically assume that because
there is a lot on the driving range that this will be a definite money maker. No one
will convince him that the golf course will ever be a money-maker. He thinks the
question is--does it still make sense for the Village to go ahead and purchase it.
Mayor IZinker said he thinks the ultimate issue will be whether we want the golf
course property itself to serve as a golf course and how much do we subsidize.
A brief discussion was held.
Mayor Rinker said the overall hope is to try to settle the issue in one concept, have
one integrated plan. However that ends up breaking down is still a major question
to be answered.
Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to adjourn.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
The meeting adjourned at 9:02 p.m.
?
COUNCIL`PRESIDENT, MARK FIXLER
?
AYOR, BRUCE G.
