The Board recommended the variance be <br />granted. <br />? Ce_ metery - Mr. Buckholtz said they have not had a formal meeting. He has <br />M contacted the other members of the committee about lighting; they recommend <br />? going ahead with that. He was contacted by Pat Negrelli of Gates Mills who will be <br />going to the Gates Mills Council to present the idea of becoming a part of the <br />< Cemetery. <br />z <br />? Citizen's Advisory Committee - Mrs. Cinco said she did not attend the meeting and <br />asked Mayor Rinker to report. Mayor Rinker said the committee discussed a revised questionnaire. The other <br />discussion was concerning the Candidate's and Issues Night. It will be an informal <br />meeting to give everyone an opportunity to chat. Literature and refreshments will <br />be provided. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Busa said more than 200 persons will receive flu shots <br />on October 30. Eunice Kalina reports she is still registering individuals duririg the <br />Craft and Card sessions Tuesday afternoons. The trip to New Wilmington, <br />Pennsylvania last Wednesday was a huge success. Bocce is now meeting Thursday <br />afternoons from 1 to 3 p.m. They anticipate continuing this activity for at least <br />another month, weather permitting. Cards and Crafts continue to meet on alternate <br />Tuesdays. The Card group will have a Halloween luncheon/party on October 31. <br />Safety and Service - Mrs. Cinco said they met October 2. They discussed the weapon <br />conversion and computer acquisition for the Police Departxnent and authorized <br />pricing of the 1996 fleet. The Fire Department gave an update of the new Fire <br />station and discussed possible replacement of Truck #612. They also discussed a new <br />truck for the Service Department. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn said they met this evening and recommended approval of the <br />following: <br />1. Ordinance No. 95-74, (Painting contract for Fire Station -$42,886) <br />2. Ordinance No. 95-75, (Purchase of 1996 pick up truck -$24,500) <br />3. Ordinance No. 95-76, (Purchase of pistols -$6,394) <br />4. Expenditure for 1993-94 audit ($9,999). Mr. Flynn said the Finance Director <br />would like to continue on with this program. <br />5. Expenditure for hydroseeding at Wiley Park, (Radick Landscaping -$3,000)
