This open portion is limited to discussion <br />pertaining to the items under "Old Business" only. <br />Laura L?nch, Beech Hill Road said there is still an odor, intermittently, and asked <br />? whether the scrubber is going to be a permanent fixture on Beech Hill. If so, it is <br />? located in a poor spot. <br />Q Mayor Rinker explained the scrubber must be in that location because it is the access <br />Z point for the manhole. The District said this is supposed to be a temporary fixture, <br />? up to two years. They are supposed to enclose it with a better looking fence. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said had spoken to Dave Klunziger about a week and a half ago; he <br />should have a report from the consultant this Friday and should also be getting a <br />comprehensive report on resolving the odor problem. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to recess into Executive Session to <br />discuss personnel matters. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Council went into Executive Sessiori at 8:33 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 8:38 p.m. <br />Ditch Cleaning/Sel2tic Outlet 735 - 739 S.O.M. Center Road <br />Mr. Samac said he has received another proposal; he has not received a written <br />quotation. The quote from ABV Contractors is close to $9,900 for the same work that <br />Suglia quoted for $5,000. <br />Council President Fixler said this happens a lot. If we can't find other qualified <br />contractors to give us a quote in writing the weather will get away from us now and we <br />will have a problem awarding this contract. <br />J
