Regular Council Meeting <br />2-16-98 <br />Page 10 <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Marquardt, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 98-11. <br />Mr. Diemert asked which exiibits Council received. <br />Mrs. Roman said Council received both the old and the new exhibits. <br />Mr. Diemert noted the exhibits most recently received should be attached to the legislation. <br />Mr. Busa questioned why there is so much engineering needed. <br />Mayor Rinker said this had been discussed at length before. This [engineering] is a component to a <br />big project. We have selected [the engineering firm] through a very arduous project. <br />Mr. Diemert said he has their summary letter. It involves many things such as storm water <br />management, wetlands analysis, site improvement and design, plan preparation for all roadways, <br />bidding in the construction phase of all the S.O.M. Center and White Road widening. It will be <br />assessed, for the most part, among the benefiting property owners which includes Progressive. <br />Mr. Brett explained the engineering selection process. The fees are not out of line with the other <br />candidates interviewed. This is what it will take to do the project well. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Marquardt, Mrs. Mills and Dr. Parker <br />NAYS: Mr. Fixler <br />ABSTAIN: Mr. Busa <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 98-12; entitled, "An ordinance creating Chapter 743 of the <br />Business Regulation Code of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Mayfield, relative to Fair <br />Housing." Introduced by 1Vlayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br /> <br /> <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />17 <br />?
