Regular Council Meeting <br />2-16-98 <br />Page 10 <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Marquardt, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 98-11. <br />Mr. Diemert asked which exiibits Council received. <br />Mrs. Roman said Council received both the old and the new exhibits. <br />Mr. Diemert noted the exhibits most recently received should be attached to the legislation. <br />Mr. Busa questioned why there is so much engineering needed. <br />Mayor Rinker said this had been discussed at length before. This [engineering] is a component to a <br />big project. We have selected [the engineering firm] through a very arduous project. <br />Mr. Diemert said he has their summary letter. It involves many things such as storm water <br />management, wetlands analysis, site improvement and design, plan preparation for all roadways, <br />bidding in the construction phase of all the S.O.M. Center and White Road widening. It will be <br />assessed, for the most part, among the benefiting property owners which includes Progressive. <br />Mr. Brett explained the engineering selection process. The fees are not out of line with the other <br />candidates interviewed.
