Regular Council Meeting 3-16-98 Page 6 Mr. Samac said the previous back-up plans examiner recently retired under PERS so he can no longer serve in that capacity. He needs a back-up plans examiner for State requirements. He also expects he will do a good portion of plans examination for the Progressive project once the architectural drawings start coming in. Things will be coming in at a rapid pace and Mr. Asamoto felt he would need some help. The person he has in mind to hire is Bill Nadeau, a Registered Architect and Plans Examiner. He will be paid $60 an hour for plans examination. Those fees are deducted from deposits paid to people who submit plans. Mr. Marquardt, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Adopted First Reading of Ordinance No. 98-15; entitled; "An ordinance appropriating funds for current expenses & expenditures of Mayfield Village, Ohio for the period from January 1, 1998 and ending December 31, 1998 and declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.
