MINiJTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL Mayfield Village May 18, 1998 The Council of Mayfield Village met in regular session on Monday, May 18, 1998, at 8:00 p.m. in the Mayfield Village Senior Center/Community Room. Council President Mark Fixler presided. ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Fixler, Mr. Marquardt, Mrs. Mills and Dr. Parker Absent: None Also Present: Mayor Rinlcer, (9:22 p.m.), Mr. Brett, Mr. Cappello, Mr. Diemert, (8:05 p.m.), Mr. Hovancsek, Mr. Metzung, Chief Mohr, Mr. Samac, Chief Stevens and Mrs. Roman The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. OPEN PORTION Brian Kane, 769 S.O.M. Center Road, said he and two other residents that live by the shopping center are unhappy with the results they've received from the Village about the concerns they have expressed (about the shopping center.) Mr. Kane said he and Mr. and Mrs. Fedor, who ar behind Revco, have trash blown into their yards from Revco and the other businesses at the shopping center. NTr. Kane found a ripped open packet from a rubber. His children play in the yard and Mr. Kane said he is concerned with the trash that comes in. This is the second time he brought this up to Council. Since we are going to have more businesses in the area, Mr. Kane said he thinks our laws should require the owners to maintain the property. Golden Gate is n maintained--trash there is picked up frequently. He suggested no littering signs be posted. Eve if people were given a warning, it may help. Mr. Diemert arrived at this time (8:05 p.m.) e CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES Regular Council Meeting - Apri120, 1998 - Mr. Busa, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to approve the minutes.
