Regular Council Meeting 5-18-98 Page 9 Mr. Busa thanked Mayor Rinker and Council for their generosity and concern for his temporary setback. Mr. Busa said in January he suggested Mayor Rinker and Council and the Ordinance Review. Committee review the ordinance outlining the procedures of Council. It needs updating, et cetera. He is suggesting this again. . Mayor Rinker apologized for being unable to make the meeting [on time]; he was called out on a case. • , ' Mayor Rinker said he had invited Mayor O'Ryan of Willoughby Hills to attend a meeting regarding the North Chagrin Commons. Mayor O'Ryan attended--with his engineer: A request was made for certain information about the storm water plans. He believes there was a lapse of communication between URS, the Village Engineer and Willoughby Hills. He thinks all information has been provided. He wants to make sure no one has any questions on storm water management. , Mayor Rinker asked if we have received minutes from the last Recreation Steering meeting and if a date for the next meeting has been set. It will be helpful if minutes are published and meetings are scheduled on a regular basis. Mr. Buckholtz said we will set it this week. Mr. Busa asked if there has been any further action regarding Upper 40. Mr. Brett said he and Mr. Metzung walked the site with representatives from Camp, Dresser and McKee. We are awaiting their white paper [position] on the situation. Chief Stevens asked if Council has received any complaints about the traffic situation during the day. Council President Fixler said on weekends it would be nice to have the road cleaner. Chief Stevens said during the worst traffic volume, traffic exiting Beta Drive took 4.5 minutes. We have moved emergency vehicles to the zone. ADJOURNMENT Mrs. Mills,4 seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to adjourn.
