Mr. Brett advised there was. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Conceptual Approval Granted <br />A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $ 9,950 to Adler's Sporting Goods for softball <br />equipment. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $ 9,950 to <br />Adler's Sporting Goods. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $ 3,000 to Ballash Press for the Summer edition of <br />the V.O.V. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $ 3,000 to <br />Ballash Press. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />A discussion for the sidewalk/bike path between Thornapple and Whitehaven and as amended, the <br />sidewalk/bike path on Wilson Mills. <br />Mr. Fixler advised he would take discussion on sidewalk by Thornapple first. Mr. Metzung stated they do not <br />have actual figures yet. <br />Mr. Fixler advised he would take discussion on the proposed sidewalk on Wilson Mills. <br />Dr. Parker went and talked to the residents and have signed petitions in favor of this issue and there was a very <br />small minority opposed. Mr. Fixler asked for the safety forces input and both Chief Mohr and Lt. Liggett were <br />in favor of the proposed sidewalk/bike path for safety reasons. Mr. Metzung advised the proposed cost for this <br />stretch, using 5' of asphalt would be approximately $ 36,000. Mr. Fixler said he would like to take it to the next <br />step of letting the eight or nine residences directly affected, a letter addressing concerns, such as Mayfield <br />Village does not have an ordinance requiring snow plowing of sidewalks and there would be no assessment. <br />Mr. Rinker advised people were very sensitive to landscaping and maybe we could cut inward around trees <br />possibly. Dr. Parker advised some residents did not want a 5' path, but possibly only a 4'. Mr. Fixler <br />
