Special Council Meeting <br />8-24-98 <br />Page 5 <br />u <br />1 <br /> <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />Council President Fixler requested a motion to amend the agenda to include the <br />following: <br />1) A Resolution of Appreciation to retiring firefighter Thomas D'Onofrio; <br />2) An Open Portion (since there are several members in the audience) <br />3) North County Line 3A-SA <br />4) Asphalt Walk on SOM <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to amend the agenda to include the <br />above-mentioned items. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Agenda Amended <br />Resolution No. 98-12; entitled; "A Resolution of Appreciation to Thomas D'Onofrio." <br />Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mayor Rinker said Mr. D'Onofrio has been an asset to Mayfield Village. He is known <br />statewide for his abilities. He read the resolution. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $7,200 to Vallejo (the <br />contractor for the North County Line project) to widen the bike path an additional <br />8' from Thornapple to Sandalwood. <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in an <br />amount of $7,200 to Vallejo. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Council President Fixler asked Mrs. Roman to notify the Village Engineer. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />
