Regular Council Meeting <br />October 19,1998 <br />Page 3 <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Marquardt said the committee discussed Jones Equipment and Night <br />Vision. <br />Hillcrest Council ofCouncils - Dr. Parker said there was no report. <br />Historical Society -Mrs. Mills said there was a good turnout for the quilt show. [Note: <br />Following this meeting, Mrs. Plastine reported that over 450 people attended the Quilt Show. <br />The Turkey Raffle will be held on November 21St ] <br />M.A.R.C. -Mrs. Cinco said she will submit the minutes to Council. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Marquardt said there was no report. <br />Planning and Zoning -Mrs. Mills said the Commission met October 15 and suggested revisions <br />on that plan so it will not interfere with the traffic pattern. They also talked about the municipal <br />swimming pool. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Buckholtz said the Board will meet this Wednesday. The Halloween <br />Party will be held Saturday. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said there was no report. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />HVAC Update <br />Council President Fixler said Mr. Samac reported on this earlier this evening. <br />Dr. Parker asked if they could give us a breakdown on the cost of parts and materials. <br />Sometimes it is helpful to compare. <br />Mr. Samac said if we want to have the room operational by spring, he suggests we do it. <br />Council President Fixler said Council already approved it but were going to check out the <br />alternatives in the interim. <br />Mr. Samac said we will get bids that are way off base one way or another and the contractors <br />don't usually bid that way. If Council wishes, he will check. <br />OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state <br />their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under <br />"Old Business" only. <br />
