Special Council Meeting <br />10-26-98 <br />Page 2 <br />Mrs. Cinco suggested the contract include a requirement for the pr-oject to be completed this <br />year. <br />Mayor Rinker explained that part of the problem with the S.O.M. Center Road project is that it is <br />not our project. <br />Mr. Metzung agreed that since this will be a Village project we will have direct contact with <br />them. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said the asphalt work should only be about a 2-day job. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said they are going to start dismantling the pump station by Mt. Vernon <br />tomorrow. <br />Mayor Rinker questioned the timetable--if one was given in the specifications. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said the entire project should take 10-14 days. <br />Mrs. Mills suggested a letter to the residents be written. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said he will try to schedule apre-construction meeting this week to get projection <br />dates--start to end. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to amend the previous motion to include the <br />following contingencies: the satisfactory completion of the bike path and repairs to S.O.M.
