Regular Council Meeting <br />July 19,1999 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Recreation Board - Mn Buckholtz said they met at the Parkview Pool. Everyone had exciting <br />comments and a few suggestions. The Parks & Recreation brochure will be mailed out in <br />August. While at the pool we decided to change the softball banquet held in August from pizza <br />at the High School cafeteria to hot_ dogs at Parkview Pool. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said they will have a meeting on July 27. <br />Mayor Rinker said the meeting is for the residents on S.O.M. Center and White roads. Rick <br />Novickis and Jill Lis from the County Board of Health, Bernie and Phil will be present. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />A motion to authorize an expenditure- in the amount of $8,500 to American Fireworks for <br />the July 3rd display <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$8,500 to American Fireworks. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />A motion to authorize an- expendit~rre in the amount of $10,567.95 to The Redmond <br />Company (Store Starters) <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$10,563.95 to The Redmond Company (Store Starters). <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Third Reading of Ordinance No. 99-20, entitled; "An emergency ordinance creating Section <br />537.21 of the Codified Ordinances pertaining to the possession and use of laser pointing <br />devices." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. '(First Reading 5-17-99; Second <br />Reading 6-21-99.) <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motigp Ip table Qxdin~:nae ~~-24• <br />~.. :a , <br />Mrs. Cinco said several items inthe-ordinance have been amended.
