Regular Council Meeting <br />July 19,1999 <br />Page 9 <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 99-25 in title. <br />Mr. Buckholtz said we will take a walk through for the exact location of the walkway. <br />Mayor Rinker said we must also recognize -that this willbe subject to some modification on the <br />-western boundary line structure. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted (in title) <br />A motion to authorize the Mayor and President of Council to enter into an agreement with <br />Linward Electric in the amount of $182,811.35 for the signalization program for North <br />Commons Boulevard and Parkview Drive. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize the Mayor and President of Council <br />to enter into an agreement with Linward Electric in the amount of $182,811.35. <br />Mr. Burgess (in the audience) said they recommend Council not accept the alternate bid and just take <br />the base bid. The alternate was to add a different type of controller. Mr. Burgess explained that they <br />expected that to be a deduct but it came as an add. Therefore, they are recommending Council only <br />accept the base bid of $174,711.35. <br />Dr. Parker questioned if Mayfield Village is being reimbursed for this. <br />Mr. Brett said a portion of this will be included in the assessment. <br />Mr. Busa and Mrs. Cinco agreed to amend their motion to change the amount to $174,711.35. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized (as amended) <br />A motion to authorize an expenditure in the.amount of $7,849 to Concord Road Equipment. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$7,849 to Concord Road Equipment. <br />
