Regular Council Meeting <br />8-16-99 <br />Page 10 <br />Mr. Thomas said he forgot to mention that the staff is looking at cable wiring for safety and security <br />purposes at Parkview Pool. It is his understanding that Cablevision supplies free service to <br />municipalities. <br />Mr. Ilacqua said he supports Mr. Thomas on getting the pool wired for safety so they can turn to <br />Channel s Doppler weather. <br />Council President Marquardt said he wanted to talk to Mr. Thomas about details on the -pool that <br />need to be looked at--there is some finish work that is not quite what it ought to be. <br />Mayor Ru~lcer said it nice that we have the warranty. <br />Dr. Parker said with all the planning and zoning going on and the S.O.M. development, he is <br />concerned everyone will want to get on the fast track to develop the area; he hopes we will look at <br />how we want the area to look--to be developed. <br />Mayor Rinker said heartily endorses that; that is where a planner will work. <br />Mr. Metzung said we had another walk-through at the pool Wednesday morning and went over the <br />fmal punch list. <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />There were no other matters before council. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />There were no additional comments. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to adjourn. <br />The meeting adjourned at,9:58 p.m. <br /> <br />WILLIAM MAI~`~~DT,`I' IDENT ~F COUI)YCI~ <br />E G.
