Regular Council Meeting <br />9-27-99 <br />Page 13 <br />Roll Call: AYES: <br />NAY-S: <br />All <br />None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 99-14, entitled; "A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to seek <br />financial assistance from the State Issue 2 Infrastructure Bond Program for funding of a Capital <br />Infrastructure Improvement Project." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 99-14. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state <br />their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under <br />"New Business" only. <br />There were no comments. <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />There were no other matters before Council. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Chief Mohr said the Fire Department issued a permit to the High School for their annual bonfire. <br />It will be held on October 7 at 7:00 p.m. behind the 11-12 building. <br />Mr. Buckholtz said he had asked about no parking signs on Woon Park on the east side of the <br />street. He asked if we ever found out how far up the street they should be placed. There are a <br />couple that look as if they were just hung up-there and somebody was going to check that out. <br />Mr. Metzung said he had talked to Lt. Dearden. about it but does not recall the resolution; he will <br />get back to him. <br />Chief Stevens will check. <br />Mr. Ilacqua said he wanted to bring to Councilperson Busa's information that we did ask for a <br />10% senior citizen discount in the revised cable contract. We are waiting to -hear back from Mr. <br />Diemert. <br />Mr. Busa said if they don't approve it, I urge you not to vote for it. <br />
