Regular Council Meeting
10-18-99
Page 10
Mr. Ilacqua said he talked to Dottie Fox, a representative of Cablevision, today. It is her
recommendation that a representative from each city within the Mayfield School District get
together to unify and ratify a joint agreement to get I-Net offthe ground. He specifically
mentioned to her that one of our requests is fora 10% discount for seniors. She didn't seem to
have any qualms about it. At this point, the four school district communities will be getting
together and negotiating an agreement. Each community will still be able to put its own nuances
and clauses in the contract. Mr. Ilacqua said he will push strongly for the 10% discount senior
citizen discount.
Mr. Busa said if they.don't include that discount, he will urge everyone not to go along with it.
