Regular Council Meeting <br />10-18-99 <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 99-38. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 99-39, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing the sum of <br />$60,178.50 to Caputo Martini for change orders for landscaping and overrun of night lighting." <br />Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 99-39. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state <br />their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under <br />"New Business" only. <br />There were no comments from audience. <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />There were no other matters before Council. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Mrs. Mills expressed thanks to Chief Mohr and Chief Stevens for the Y2K Program. She is sure <br />Mrs. Kalina will go along with it if it is not a nighttime meeting.. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked if we -have confirmed with Eric Smith that he will be attending the Citizen's <br />Advisory Committee meeting next Monday. <br />Mr. Busa asked the progress on the senior citizen~discount on cable. <br />
