Regular Council Meeting 10-18-99 Page 4 expenditure for the wetlands bridge with the trex decking. Regarding item #8, the committee approved going ahead with bids and the concept of doing that. They asked Chief Stevens to get pricing on that. Hillcrest Council ofCouncils -Mrs. Cinco said she had no report; she was not in attendance at the last breakfast meeting. She asked if anyone else had attended. No one. commented. Historical Society -Mrs. Mills said new concrete steps have been installed at the north wing entrance to the music room. Work is continuing on the display room in the basement. This room will have many tools of the past. The new doors for the furnace room have been delivered and will be installed soon. The Annual Turkey Raffle will be held on November 20 at 7:3'0 p.m. at the Community Room. Tickets are available from members of the Society. They are also starting to work on information for the Mayfield Village web site. M.A.R.C. -Mrs. Cinco said the MBA program was discussed at the last M.A.R.C. meeting. She reminded everyone of the art show. Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Ilacqua said there was no meeting last month. Planning and -Zoning -Mrs. Mills said there was no regular meeting at the beginning of the month. Their workshop will be held on October 21 at 7:30 p.m. Recreation Board - Mr. Buckholtz said the Board will meet this Wednesday to finalize plans for the Parkview Playground. They will present them to Council in November or December. They will also review the stafFs recommendations from the pool operation for consideration of next year's season. They will also be hearing a presentation from the Wildcat Youth Football for possible funding. The Winter Brochure is being worked on and will be mailed to residents in late November. The Village Halloween Parry for preschoolers and youth wilLbe here on October 30 from 1-2:30 p.m. There will be a hayride and other activities. Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said there was no report. SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS Cable Review Committee - Mr. Ilacqua said he received a call from a representative of Cablevision today. We will be meeting with Cablevision and representatives of the School District about getting the I-Net installed. After that meeting, he will have a further report. Wage Review Committee - Dr. Parker said we received some information from the Finance Director in our packet. We have scheduled a meeting for October 27 with the committee members. After which time, we will meet with the Finance Director within a couple of weeks.
