<br />1 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />10-18-99 <br />Page 5 <br />OLD~BUSINESS <br />^ EXECUTIVE SESSION (Litigation) <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to recess into Executive Session to discuss <br />litigation. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Council went into Executive Session at 8:20 p.m. to discuss litigation. <br />Council reconvened at 8:52 p.m. <br />OPEN PORTION- - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state <br />their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under <br />"Old Business" only. <br />There were no comments. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />^ A motion to authorize site and building plan approval for the new commercial-data <br />building for Progressive Companies at 300 North Commons Boulevard <br />Mr. Buckholtz, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to authorize site and building plan approval <br />for the new commercial-data building for Progressive Companies at 300 North Commons <br />Boulevard. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there was any discussion. <br />Mr. Buckholtz asked if everything is as discussed at Caucus? <br />Mr. Samar said a few things were addressed by the Engineer. <br />Council President Marquardt asked Mr. Samar to give a brief summary. <br />Mr. Samar-said the data building is approximately 80,000 square feet. It is located in the southwest <br />quadrant of their property. It is a little bit different architecturally-than the other buildings because it <br />needs to be secure. It is bunkered on two sides for security reasons. The A.R.B. has approved the <br />aesthetics of the building. Site engineering has been approved by the Village Engineer. The rest of <br />the project will be approved piecemeal. It is a fast-track job which means they will be submitting <br />
