Regular Council Meeting <br />11-15-99 <br />Page 10 <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 99-16, entitled; "A Resolution accepting the amounts and rates as <br />determined by the Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them <br />to the County Auditor." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 99-16. <br />Mr. Brett said this is accepting the tax rates that went out in the tax budget I prepared in July and we <br />had a public hearing on it and it went before Council. This is much the same as it has been for the <br />last 3 years. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state <br />their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under <br />"New Business" only. <br />There were no comments. <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />There were no other matters before Council. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Mr. Buckholtz said as far as the $9 million O.D.O.T. monies, what is the deadline on that? <br />Mr. Brett said he would have to review it. He thinks we would be looking at a two-year time <br />frame. It was awarded last year. <br />Mrs. Mills said Mr. Cappello and I talked before the meeting this evening and he needs approval <br />to go through with the study on the north side of Wilson Mills. <br /> <br />1 <br />Mr. Cappello the approximate cost to do the survey is $3,200. <br />
