Regular Council Meeting <br />11-15-99 <br />Page 4 <br />Historical Society -Mrs. Mills said the furnace room doors have been installed along with the <br />storeroom doors. We have an original blackboard from a school in Cleveland that was <br />remodeled in the early 1950's. We will also be receiving a potbellied stove for our one-room <br />school house. Our annual Turkey Raffle is this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Room. <br />The Historic House will be decorated for the holidays for the third Sunday open house in <br />November and December. <br />M.A.R.C -Mrs. Cinco said there was no meeting in November. They will have a meeting on the <br />first Thursday of December. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Ilacqua said they will be meeting November 23 to discuss <br />the ordinance re signage. <br />Planning and Zoning -Mrs. Mills said at the last meeting we discussed the widening of S.O.M. <br />The next meeting will be the Workshop on November 18. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Buckholtz said the Board will be meeting this Wednesday and will begin <br />discussing the development for ball diamonds and tennis courts at Parkview. They will also be <br />discussing the summer programs. Mr. Buckholtz told Mr. Thomas this is outstanding; he did a <br />good job on that. Also, the teen dance that he helped coordinate at the High School was a <br />success. Over 200 teens and music of all different kinds. The kids had a great time. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said they will be meeting in December but a date <br />hasn't been set yet. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Cable Committee - Mr. Ilacqua said he has given Council the correspondence he received from <br />the Law Director. We will continue to move forward within the framework of the Mayors and <br />Managers model franchise agreement. Mr. Diemert was on vacation; he will be speaking with <br />Mr. Diemert directly and putting more polish on it. <br />Wage Ordinance Review Committee - Dr. Parker said they will meet Wednesday, November 17 <br />at 10:30 a.m. <br />OLD B~TSINESS <br />Executive Session (litigation) <br />Council President Marquardt entertained a motion to go into Executive Session to discuss <br />litigation. <br /> <br /> <br />J <br />
