l A <br />14 <br />Beech Hill Pumping Station <br />Mayor Heebe said he met with Mr. Bi11 Schatz and Lou Debevec from the <br />Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District in his off ice last Thursday. Resident, <br />Mrs. FitzGerald attended.the meeting. They were updated on all the <br />technicalities and improvements that have been made and have concluded they <br />should wait and see what.happens in the next few months to be sure the <br />problems have been resolved. <br />Salt Shed Community Room Rules <br />Mrs. Hanus said the Community Room Committee has reviewed various ordinances <br />from other municipalities and have drawn up a good set of rules which they <br />submitted to the Mayor and Council. Mayor Beebe has asked the Historical <br />Society and the Garden Club to do the same. After all material has been <br />presented,.the decision.is up to Council to finalize the rules for commercial <br />use of the building. <br />Employee Wage Ordinance <br />Mr. Busa asked Mr. Feneli if a motion was required to show that no action <br />will be taken. . <br />Mr. Feneli said this is not necessary because the current pay ordinance remains <br />in effect. <br />Sick Leave for Employees <br />Mr. Busa asked.if this could be discussed in committee. Mr. Feneli said he <br />and Mayor Beebe have discussed this. There are changes in the State law he <br />is trying to correlate with ours and he is working on it. <br />Disposition of old Village'records <br />Mr. Feneli said he listed in his letter of July 16, 1982 the Records Commission <br />members, established by State law. Department Heads have requested action be <br />taken on this. Mayor Beebe will be taking action when he returns from vacation. <br />Mr. Busa asked the Mayor's Secretary to contact Mr. Avery to ask him to attend <br />the next Regular Meeting of Council to give an "End of the Year status report <br />on litigation". <br />Mr. Busa stated Council will now recess for a ten minute break. <br />Council recessed at 9:02 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 9:13 p.m. - <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Minimum Jail Standards <br />Mr. Feneli said he received a copy of the bill discussed last week in today's <br />mail. He talked with tlie liason.from the Depaxtment of Rehabilitation and <br />Corrections concerning the jail standards. He said every time he asked a <br />question he was told to refer to Senate Bill 32. After he reviews the bill <br />and determines what will happen because we cannot comply he will make a <br />report for the Ma.yor and Council. A temporary variance ma.y be possible and <br />he will have a report on that in Council's packet for Friday.
